New Going LIVE Partner

By Dave Slusarick

If you’ve watched even one episode of the primetime variety show “Going LIVE with FCTV,” you’ve seen enough to realize that the show spotlights local people and places, and celebrates the best that our region has to offer.

One of the things that adds culture to our corner of Southwestern Pennsylvania is our local business community.  Fayette County and neighboring areas are home to an array of locally owned businesses offering a diverse range of unique products and services.

The Fayette County Buy Local Network is one of several organizations that work hard to create a positive climate in which local businesses can thrive and continue to provide local people with family-sustaining jobs.  You may have seen Bob Junk and Devan Grote of the Buy Local Network when they appeared as guests on “Going LIVE.” Fayette TV works closely with organizations like Buy Local and the Fayette Chamber of Commerce because we share their passion for making Fayette County an even stronger and more vibrant place to live, work, and do business.

Now, we’re excited to announce that the Fayette County Buy Local Network has signed on as the keystone sponsor for the next 12 episodes of “Going LIVE.” That means there will be some exciting additions to our show!

In addition to the segments you’ve come to enjoy, we’ll also be presenting some interactive demonstrations from local businesses that you’ll find nowhere else in the world but Fayette County!  You’ll learn how these businesses are re-investing in our community, and you’ll get a first-hand look at the Buy Local Network’s initiatives to build a sustainable food system, a healthier and more environmentally responsible community, and to create an overall improvement in Fayette County’s quality of life.

Tune in on Friday, January 11 at 8:00 p.m. as we kick off this exciting new partnership!
