The Fayette TV team was as busy as Santa in the days leading up to Christmas, but unlike the jolly old elf, we don’t get 12 months to rest! As we close the book on 2012 and ring in the new year, we’ve prepared some special programming to serve as the perfect complement to your celebrations.
At 8:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, kick off the party with the “Going LIVE with FCTV Year in Review,” a musical showcase of the talented artists who’ve been on the show in 2012. You’ll hear rock, jazz, R & B, country, and even bluegrass!
Following this special broadcast, it’s time for the “Going LIVE with FCTV New Year’s Countdown,” (airing 10 p.m.) featuring some young people born and bred in Fayette County who are making big names for themselves. April Black, whose film credits include “The Hunger Games” and Jordan Zeigler, who performed in Hollywood for John Lennon’s birthday tribute, are scheduled to join us on the “Going LIVE” couch. This episode also includes a mixology lesson from Wines, Steins and Cocktails, and a special performance from the legendary Harold Betters, who has toured with Ray Charles and collaborated with Louis Armstrong!
The festivities don’t stop at midnight, though. Brandon Petrucci and Abacus Jones invade the Fayette TV studios for “Going LIVE Unplugged,” your party’s soundtrack after the clock strikes 12.
If you’re not in front of a TV on New Year’s Eve and still want to party with Fayette TV, everything will be re-broadcast at the same times on New Year’s Day and on Saturday, January 5.
May the ups and downs of 2012 make all of us wiser, stronger, and more grateful. Fayette TV is appreciative of your support during an eventful year, and we look forward to continued growth in 2013!
